“Charge Safe, Ride Safe” tackles the issue head-on by providing safe and accessible outdoor charging stations. This eliminates the need for risky in-home charging, which is where most fires occur, according to the FDNY.

Companies like Swobbee, Popwheels, and Swiftmile are revolutionizing the game with swappable batteries. Delivery workers can simply exchange a depleted battery for a fully charged one at designated locations. These swappable batteries boast top-notch safety features like automatic shutoff mechanisms and fire suppression systems.
