“It can fly really quietly,” Allison explained. “If it was flying over here at about a thousand feet, which is low even for a helicopter, it would be basically silent. You wouldn’t hear it as it flies over.” This emphasis on minimizing noise is key to integrating air taxis into already crowded city spaces without adding additional disturbances.

Although the model displayed in Los Angeles was not operational, its sleek, futuristic design and minimalist interior drew comparisons to Tesla’s innovative approach.
