First Impressions
The TALON T757 arrived well packaged with the typical assembly required for a direct-to-consumer e-bike.
Assembly was straightforward and took me roughly 30-45 minutes.
Once assembled, my first impression was that the bike looked better in person than it did in photos.
The moped-style frame gives it a more substantial presence than many budget e-bikes, and the long seat immediately stood out as one of the most comfortable I’ve seen in this price range.
The welds looked clean, the paint finish was good, and nothing felt particularly cheap despite the aggressive pricing.

Cracks, expansion joints, and rough pavement that would normally be noticeable on a traditional commuter e-bike felt much less harsh on the T757.
For riders looking for comfort first and performance second, this setup works very well.
Motor Performance and Acceleration
The TALON T757 is powered by a 750W rear hub motor, and for the type of riding this bike is designed for, I think Talon made the right choice.
From a stop, the bike accelerates smoothly and gets up to speed quickly enough for neighborhood riding, bike paths where permitted, and commuting. It isn’t an aggressive performance machine like some higher-powered moped-style e-bikes, but it never felt underpowered during my testing.
The throttle response is predictable, which is something I appreciate. Some budget e-bikes can feel jerky when the throttle engages, but the T757 delivers power in a way that feels manageable and confidence-inspiring.
For everyday riding, I found the bike happiest cruising in the 20-25 mph range where it felt stable and comfortable.

One thing that immediately stood out to me was the kickstand.
I’ve ridden quite a few e-bikes, including my HappyRun G70, and one issue I’ve noticed on some moped-style bikes is that the kickstands can feel flimsy or unstable.
That isn’t the case here.
The TALON T757 has one of the most stable kickstands I’ve personally used on a moped-style e-bike.
The bike feels secure when parked, and I never worried about it tipping over while getting on, getting off, or loading gear.

What I Don’t Like About the TALON T757
While I’ve enjoyed riding the bike, there are a few areas where I’d still like to see improvements.
Mechanical Disc Brakes
The biggest compromise is the braking system.
The brakes work, but hydraulic brakes would provide stronger stopping power and require less maintenance.
Considering the bike weighs 84 pounds and can carry up to 330 pounds, hydraulic brakes would have been a welcome upgrade.
Weight
At 84 pounds, this is not a lightweight e-bike.
Once you’re riding, the weight isn’t particularly noticeable thanks to the motor assistance.

The 48V 13Ah battery is reasonable for the price, but it isn’t huge.
Most riders will be satisfied with the range, but if you routinely ride long distances or spend most of your time on the throttle, you’ll wish for more capacity.
Unboxing & Assembly
One area where the TALON T757 made a good first impression was the packaging. The bike arrived well protected inside a sturdy shipping box with foam and protective materials placed around key components. Everything arrived in good condition, and I didn’t notice any scratches, dents, or shipping damage.
After opening the box, it was clear that Talon had taken care to secure the bike for shipping. The frame, wheels, and components were wrapped and protected to minimize movement during transport.
Like most direct-to-consumer e-bikes, the T757 arrives partially assembled. Most of the major components were already installed, leaving only a few final assembly steps before the bike was ready to ride.
