What to Look for in an E-Bike for Short Riders

• Standover or Step-Over Height
  Useful when you are standing over the frame, but it does not tell you how easily your feet reach the ground while seated.
• Minimum Saddle or Seat-to-Ground Height
  Check the manufacturer’s lowest published setting. Seat-to-ground height and saddle height measured from the bottom bracket are not the same measurement.
• Reach and Handlebar Position
  A bike can be low enough but still feel too long. Shorter reach and adjustable handlebars can reduce shoulder and wrist strain.
• Bike Weight
  A 70+ lb e-bike may be much harder for a smaller rider to maneuver, park, or load than a 40–50 lb bike even if both technically fit.
