Amflow has expanded its U.S. electric-bike lineup, with the Amflow TL Carbon available globally beginning October 26 and the PR Carbon and PR Carbon Pro now available to U.S. shoppers. All three use Avinox mid-drive systems, but they serve different riders: the TL Carbon is an SUV-style touring bike, while the PR models are performance-focused electric mountain bikes.

Starting U.S. prices are $3,899 for the TL Carbon, $4,999 for the PR Carbon, and $6,799 for the PR Carbon Pro, according to Amflow’s October 26 announcement. Those are manufacturer-listed starting prices; availability, configurations, shipping, taxes and retailer inventory can vary.

Amflow’s Three U.S. Models at a Glance

Model Starting U.S. price Motor Maximum torque Primary use
TL Carbon $3,899 Avinox M2 125 Nm All-terrain touring and utility riding
PR Carbon $4,999 Avinox M2 125 Nm Electric mountain biking
PR Carbon Pro $6,799 Avinox M2S 150 Nm Higher-performance electric mountain biking

Figures are manufacturer claims, not Electric Bike Explorer test results. The torque numbers are maximum figures and do not indicate continuous torque in every riding mode.

TL Carbon: An Electric Bike Built for Touring and Everyday Use

The $3,899 TL Carbon is the biggest departure from Amflow’s performance mountain-bike focus. Amflow describes it as its first all-terrain touring or SUV e-bike, intended to balance rough-road capability with everyday practicality. Its Avinox M2 drive system is rated for up to 125 Nm of torque.

Amflow reports a complete-bike weight as low as 22.6 kg (about 49.8 lb) and a maximum 200 kg (about 441 lb) system weight. The system-weight figure includes the bicycle itself, the rider, and cargo on the racks. It is not a 441-pound rider-weight rating.

The TL is worth watching for commuters and touring riders who want mountain-bike-inspired suspension with practical cargo capability. However, we have not independently tested it, and buyers should confirm the exact rack limits, equipment, size and configuration before ordering.

PR Carbon: A Removable 800 Wh Battery for Trail Riders

The PR Carbon enters the U.S. market at $4,999 with an Avinox M2 motor delivering a claimed maximum 125 Nm. Its distinguishing feature is the removable 800 Wh battery, which weighs approximately 4 kg (8.8 lb) according to Amflow.

The removable design means the battery can be charged off the bike, useful for riders who store an e-MTB away from an electrical outlet. It can also be swapped for another compatible charged battery, although a second battery should not be assumed to come with the purchase.

Amflow quotes a range of up to 158 km (about 98 miles) for the PR Carbon. That figure came from a specific test using an 80 kg rider on flat pavement, in Eco mode, traveling at 21 km/h at a cadence of 65 rpm. It is not a promise of 98 miles on mountainous trails. Steep grades, technical riding, higher assistance and temperature can substantially reduce actual range.

PR Carbon Pro: More Torque at a Higher Price

The $6,799 PR Carbon Pro shares the PR family’s removable battery concept but upgrades to the Avinox M2S motor, with a claimed maximum 150 Nm torque output. The premium focuses on power and higher-end trail performance, not on a larger battery: the public launch details identify an 800 Wh removable battery across the PR series.

For riders considering the Pro, the real question is whether its extra motor output and component package justify the $1,800 difference from the PR Carbon. Maximum torque alone does not measure how a bike performs on sustained climbs, how smoothly it delivers assistance, or how long the battery lasts. Those questions require independent riding tests.

What Is New for U.S. Riders?

October 26 was not the first worldwide appearance of the PR series. The PR Carbon models had been available in other regions, and the announcement made them newly available in the United States. The TL Carbon’s global sales availability began the same day.

Amflow says the bicycles can be ordered through its official website and participating authorized dealers. Buyers should confirm availability, service support, regional riding configurations and local trail-access rules with the seller.

Who Should Consider Each Model?

  • TL Carbon: Riders looking for a versatile, premium touring/utility e-bike with a strong mid-drive motor and all-terrain ambitions.
  • PR Carbon: E-MTB riders who prioritize a removable battery and high motor torque at a lower price than the Pro.
  • PR Carbon Pro: Experienced trail riders willing to pay more for the stronger M2S drive and premium positioning.

Bottom Line

Amflow’s October 26 announcement brings three distinct options to the U.S. market. The $3,899 TL Carbon is the more practical all-terrain touring proposition, while the $4,999 PR Carbon and $6,799 PR Carbon Pro focus on removable-battery electric mountain biking. The headline numbers are impressive, but whether they translate into real-world value depends on ride quality, reliability, dealer support and realistic range—not maximum torque alone.
