Juiced Bikes Revived: Lectric Ebikes Founders Bring the Brand Back to Life
Last year, Juiced Bikes—a brand known for its high-performance electric bicycles—shut down after financial troubles. It was a tough blow for fans who had followed the company since its founding in 2009. But in an unexpected twist, the brand is making a comeback, thanks to the ambitious minds behind Lectric Ebikes, Levi Conlow and Robbie Deziel.
The announcement came through a video posted on Juiced Bikes’ long-dormant YouTube channel, where Conlow and Deziel revealed their successful bid to acquire the brand. More importantly, they shared their vision for bringing it back to life.
A Legacy with a Fresh Start
Juiced Bikes wasn’t just another e-bike company. It set itself apart with raw power, speed, and cutting-edge designs, attracting a dedicated following. But despite its impact on the industry, the company couldn’t weather the financial storm, leading to its closure in 2024.
On the other hand, Lectric Ebikes took a different route to success. Since launching in 2019, the company skyrocketed to the top, becoming North America’s best-selling e-bike brand by 2023. It repeated that feat in 2024 and is likely on track to do it again in 2025.
Conlow and Deziel have built their reputation on affordability, innovation, and delivering serious value. Now, they’re looking to apply those lessons to Juiced Bikes—while keeping the brand’s identity intact.
Keeping Juiced’s Spirit Alive
Rather than folding Juiced into Lectric’s lineup, the new owners want to preserve what made it special.
“What drew us into Juiced is the same thing that drew many Juiced customers into the brand in the first place,” Conlow explained. “That high performance, that torque, that acceleration—the thing you love about Juiced. That’s our full intention, to preserve and continue that beautiful performance into the future.”
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Lectric initially placed a winning bid when Juiced’s assets went up for auction, but the offer was rejected. For a while, the brand’s future remained uncertain. Eventually, Conlow and Deziel managed to secure a deal, acquiring nearly everything—branding, intellectual property, the website—except for the actual bikes.
Rebuilding from the Ground Up
One of their biggest challenges now is reestablishing Juiced’s supply chain. Since another e-bike company, VeloWave, acquired much of Juiced’s remaining inventory and has been selling it online, Conlow and Deziel have to start fresh when it comes to sourcing and manufacturing.
There’s also the issue of customers who placed orders before Juiced collapsed but never received their bikes. While the new owners hope to help those affected, they admit it will take time to sort everything out.
Despite these hurdles, they’re committed to restoring Juiced’s reputation. Their track record with Lectric speaks for itself, and they’re determined to bring that same level of customer service and dedication to the Juiced brand.
