If you ride a Globe Haul ST or LT, it’s time to hit the brakes—literally. Specialized has just issued a recall for these e-bikes due to a serious fall risk tied to the seat post.

What’s the Problem?
The issue lies with the telescopic seat post that comes standard on all Globe Haul ST and LT models. When the lower part of the post is fully extended, it can snap under load—especially during regular riding.
So far, 13 seat posts have failed, and two riders reported minor injuries like bruises and scrapes. It could’ve been worse.
Stop Riding, Start Repairing
If you own a Globe Haul ST or LT, stop riding it immediately. Specialized is offering a free seat post replacement through their authorized dealers.
