Ride Quality & Performance
During testing, the E-Scout Pro proved to be remarkably stable, even at higher downhill speeds. On a 19% downhill coast test, the bike reached 40 mph and remained secure and planted despite its 82 lb weight.
The motor power is impressive. On a 19% grade hill climb test, the E-Scout Pro handled the climb smoothly with pedal assist. The transition between pedal assist levels isn’t perfectly linear—users have reported a noticeable jump between levels 3 and 4—but overall, the five assist levels provide plenty of flexibility.
The fat tires and suspension fork do much of the work in absorbing shocks, making the ride comfortable across trails, ranch paths, and gravel roads.
For safety, the Logan hydraulic disc brakes engage quickly and effectively. The integrated brake tail light adds visibility in low-light conditions, and the front headlight is bright enough for early morning or late evening rides.
