E-Bike Repair in Florida: Find Shops, Mobile Mechanics & Service

Last Updated on November 6, 2026 by Kristina

Introduction

Finding e-bike repair in Florida takes more than finding the nearest bicycle shop. One mechanic may happily replace your brake pads but be unable to diagnose your motor. Another may repair your electrical system only if it supports your particular brand.

This guide helps you find the right kind of service, whether you need a flat fixed, an online-purchased bike assembled, electrical troubleshooting or help with an electric trike.

Find Florida E-Bike Repair

Search Florida listings by city, ZIP code or brand, then choose the service you need. Read each listing’s restrictions and contact the business before visiting.

Browse Florida repair shops and mobile mechanics

Why You Can Trust This Guide

I built this guide around Electric Bike Explorer’s repair directory and the service policies businesses publish themselves. Check each listing for service restrictions, and call with your bike’s model before booking. Selling e-bikes does not necessarily mean a shop can repair every electrical system.

The listed businesses have not been individually tested or endorsed by EBE. Inclusion is a starting point for finding help, and a claimed listing means a business representative has been verified, not that EBE has certified the quality of its repairs.

Start With the Repair Your Bike Needs

Describe the symptom before choosing a shop. A rear-wheel flat, a dead display and a battery that will not charge can require very different tools, parts and experience.

  • Mechanical repairs: Tires, tubes, brakes, chains, gears, wheels and bearings. Ask whether the shop accepts your e-bike and can handle a motor-wheel removal if needed.
  • Electrical diagnostics: Troubleshooting the motor, controller, display, wiring, sensors or battery communication. Confirm support for your exact system, not just your bike brand.
  • Assembly: Building a boxed bike, adjusting it and checking it before use. Ask separately whether the business also offers repairs or warranty support.
  • Electric-trike service: Ask about your actual model, rear axle or differential, parking brakes and workshop access. Standard bicycle or non-electric tricycle service does not guarantee electric-trike acceptance.
  • Mobile repair: A mechanic works at your address. Pickup and delivery mean the bike may be transported to a workshop instead.

If you need help describing the problem, start with the e-bike troubleshooting and maintenance guide. You do not need to diagnose the failed component before calling a mechanic.

Where to Look for E-Bike Repair in Florida

Last reviewed November 6, 2026. Check the directory for the latest listings. A business may cover more than one area, and a listed drop-off point is not necessarily a separately staffed repair workshop. Coverage and intake policies can change.

The table names physical shop cities and published drop-off locations represented in our current Florida listings. The separate section below covers mobile visits and collection areas. These are starting points for finding service, not a promise that every business accepts every bike or repair.

More Local Options in Central Florida and the Keys

These businesses provide additional places to start your repair search. Contact each shop with your exact model, electrical system, purchase source and repair needs before visiting.

  • Lakeland — Crossroads Cycles: Advertises mechanical and electrical diagnostics involving motors, controllers, displays and wiring. American Iron Cycles also lists this Lakeland location with the same contact details, so it is represented once in the directory. Confirm model compatibility, parts and booking.
  • Titusville — Danny Boys Bike Shop: Listed in Lectric and Jetson’s repair networks. Confirm your model and the specific job with the shop. Lectric owners should contact manufacturer support first to coordinate diagnosis, parts and instructions; network membership does not establish unrestricted electrical repairs.
  • Vero Beach — Trek Bike Shop of Vero Beach: Its operator advertises mechanical service for select e-bikes and diagnostics or firmware updates on supported systems. Confirm this branch’s intake, model eligibility and parts before drop-off.
  • Sebastian — E Power Bike Shop: Advertises e-bike inspections, maintenance, parts replacement and diagnosis of components and electrical systems. The shop is in Sebastian, rather than Vero Beach or Fort Pierce. Confirm compatible diagnostic tools and parts for your bike.
  • Key Largo — All Keys Cycles: Explicitly lists e-bike and electric-trike tune-ups, brake and gear adjustments, and e-bike tire/tube installation. Electrical-contact cleaning is included in its tune-up description; it does not establish comprehensive electrical diagnostics or battery rebuilding.
  • Key West area — We Cycle: Explicitly lists e-bike service labor and flat repairs. It lists locations at 5160 Overseas Highway (U.S. 1) and 326 Southard Street; call to confirm the correct repair drop-off point. Its diagnostic labor minimum does not identify every supported electrical system. Rental delivery and roadside help should not be assumed to cover customer-owned e-bikes.

For Palm Bay and Fort Pierce, consider nearby directory listings and manufacturer service partners, then confirm the trip and repair before transporting your bike. A shop in Melbourne, Sebastian or Port St. Lucie is not necessarily a storefront in your city or a mobile service covering your address.

Mobile Repair and Pickup Coverage Beyond Shop Cities

A business can serve a town without having a storefront there. Always confirm your exact address, bike model, repair and travel fees. The cities and communities below are examples of advertised service areas. Ask the business whether it covers your location.

  • Panhandle: eBike Drs advertises mobile service in Walton, Bay and Okaloosa counties, from Destin to Panama City Beach, with drop-off options in Santa Rosa Beach (including WaterColor) and Panama City Beach.
  • Northeast coast: Florida Mobile Bicycle Service lists Flagler County and surrounding areas, including Flagler Beach, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. Some jobs may require workshop service.
  • Orlando and Central Florida: Cycle Sages advertises mobile coverage including Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Dr. Phillips, Kissimmee, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Apopka, Sanford, Lake Mary, Clermont, Winter Garden, Oviedo, Altamonte Springs, Maitland and Baldwin Park.
  • North Central Florida: Cycle Sages also advertises Gainesville, Ocala, Alachua, Newberry, High Springs and Williston coverage through its North Central Florida team.
  • Tampa Bay: E-Mobilize advertises mobile service in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties. Confirm address coverage rather than assuming every location in a county can be booked.
  • Southwest Florida: Mobile Bike Medic advertises community service and at-home repair appointments. Confirm availability and whether it accepts your particular e-bike and repair. Other listed shops advertise pickup/return within their stated service areas; do not assume this means on-site repairs or statewide coverage.
  • Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County: Scootermotion advertises collection and return in Hobe Sound, Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens. Repairs take place at its workshop. Bikes Plus and Treasure Coast Cycle Werks separately advertise mobile bicycle service around the Treasure Coast; confirm e-bike job eligibility and address coverage.

Can’t Find a Repair Shop Near You?

If you do not see a listing in your city, search nearby towns and ask whether a mobile mechanic or pickup service covers your address. You can also contact your bike’s manufacturer for local service options. Confirm that the business accepts your model and can handle the repair before arranging a visit or transport.

Mobile service is advertised around Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. Confirm your address, bike model and repair needs before booking.

Search the Florida repair directory for current contact details, service tags and the restrictions attached to each listing. Keep the Florida state filter selected when searching by city, ZIP code or brand.

Examples of Different Repair Services in the Directory

These examples illustrate service differences, not a ranking or endorsement. Read each business’s full directory description and confirm that it can handle your exact model.

  • Mechanical repairs only: Revolutions Cyclery in Melbourne explicitly excludes electric-drive and computer-system work. It asks customers to remove the battery before drop-off.
  • Electrical troubleshooting: Gainesville Electric Bike Garage advertises diagnostics and repairs involving motors, controllers, displays, throttles, pedal assist and batteries. Ask whether the shop supports your electrical system and whether its battery service covers testing, replacement or repairs inside the pack.
  • Electric-trike repairs and assembly: Benefit Electric Bikes in Palm Coast explicitly advertises electric-trike service and outside-purchased bike acceptance. Parts and electrical-system support still need model-specific confirmation.
  • Mobile electric-trike work: E-Mobilize lists electric-trike tune-ups and assembly. Cycle Sages lists electric-trike repairs and assembly. Confirm which job can be completed at your address.
  • Brand-specific electrical restrictions: National eBike in Palm Coast provides service for Mokwheel bikes. For other brands, its service page excludes electrical troubleshooting and lists installation of electrical components you already have. Confirm part compatibility and job acceptance before booking. For an online-purchased Mokwheel warranty claim, check authorization and labor coverage with the shop and manufacturer.
  • Pickup rather than an on-site repair visit: Scootermotion collects bikes, services them at its workshop and returns them. Its electrical support depends on the model and system.

Compare the current Florida repair listings before choosing a business. A service tag is a useful filter; the description and the shop’s confirmation determine whether it is suitable for your repair.

Can You Get an Online-Purchased E-Bike Repaired?

Some Florida shops explicitly accept bikes bought online or elsewhere. Others limit work to brands they sell, supported electrical systems or mechanical components. Call first rather than arriving with a heavy bike and discovering it is outside the shop’s intake policy.

Give the shop the brand, model, approximate year and the job you need. Include whether it has a throttle, a hub or mid-drive motor, and any modifications. If the manufacturer has offered a replacement part, ask the shop to approve the part and job before ordering it.

A business accepting your brand does not guarantee it can obtain every connector, display, controller or software tool. Ask what happens if it can diagnose the problem but cannot obtain a compatible replacement.

Finding Electrical Diagnostics and Battery Help

For a no-power problem, ask what the diagnostic appointment covers and what it costs. Does it include checking the charger and battery output, reading supported error codes, inspecting wiring or testing the controller? Can the shop access the software needed for your system?

Battery testing, battery replacement and battery rebuilding are separate services. A shop that checks battery health or fits a manufacturer-approved replacement is not necessarily equipped to open a pack and replace internal cells. Do not assume a general ‘battery service’ claim includes rebuilding.

For background on a common symptom, see why an e-bike battery may charge but provide no power. Tell the mechanic what you observed rather than assuming the battery must be replaced.

Mobile Mechanics, Pickup and Delivery

Mobile service can be especially helpful for a heavy e-bike or trike, but ask which jobs can be completed at your location. A mobile mechanic may need a second visit or workshop time for parts-intensive repairs.

  • Confirm coverage for your exact address and whether travel fees apply.
  • Ask whether a service-call charge is separate from diagnostic labor, repair labor and parts.
  • For pickup/delivery, confirm both transport charges, loading arrangements and the return schedule.
  • For trikes, confirm vehicle capacity and the dimensions needed for collection.
  • Check whether you need to provide a sheltered work area, access or other arrangements.

Electric Trike Repair in Florida

When searching the directory, choose the electric-trike service filter and read the description. Some businesses confirm repair and maintenance; others advertise assembly only. Those capabilities should not be treated as interchangeable.

Tell the shop the trike’s width, weight, wheel sizes and model. Describe whether the issue involves the brakes, parking brake, shifting, rear axle, differential, motor or electrical system. If collection is needed, confirm that its vehicle can safely accommodate your trike.

What to Ask Before Booking

  • Do you accept my exact bike or trike model and purchase source?
  • Can you perform this repair, including any electrical work it may require?
  • What diagnostic, travel or minimum-labor charges apply, and are any credited toward repair?
  • Will you provide an estimate before ordering parts or proceeding beyond an agreed amount?
  • Who sources the parts, and do you install customer-supplied components?
  • Should I bring the battery, key and charger, or remove the battery before drop-off?
  • Do you coordinate manufacturer warranty claims, and could I still owe labor or transport fees?
  • What is the expected schedule, and are there storage charges after completion?

Battery intake rules differ. Some mechanical-only shops ask you to take the battery home; an electrical diagnostic appointment may require it. Follow the shop’s instructions, and disclose any battery damage before arranging transport.

How Much Does E-Bike Repair Cost in Florida?

There is no single statewide price. The job, wheel design, electrical system, parts availability and travel arrangements all affect the quote. A hub-motor rear-wheel flat can involve more labor than a conventional front-wheel flat, while an intermittent power fault may require diagnostic time before the shop knows what needs replacing.

Request an itemized estimate separating diagnostics, labor, parts, transport and tax. Ask whether the diagnostic charge is credited if you approve the repair. For warranty cases, get the manufacturer’s approval and reimbursement terms in writing before assuming it will cover a local mechanic’s bill.

Before Transporting Your Bike

Record the error message, when the problem occurs and what changed beforehand. Clear photos or a short video can help a shop decide whether it is the right service provider. Share the purchase receipt and warranty case number when relevant.

Do not ride a bike with unreliable brakes, loose structural components or an unsecured folding hinge to the repair shop. Ask about transport instead. If the problem concerns a folding joint, read the warning signs in the folding e-bike hinge inspection guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will any bicycle shop work on an e-bike?
No. Some accept mechanical jobs but exclude electrical components, and others have brand, battery or model restrictions. Confirm the exact job before visiting.

Does an electrical-diagnostics tag mean every brand is supported?
No. Shops may support only certain brands, motors or software systems. Read the listing’s restrictions and call with your exact model before booking.

Can a shop repair my bike under warranty if I bought it online?
Possibly, but manufacturer authorization, parts supply and labor coverage vary. Ask both the manufacturer and shop before booking.

Does a claimed listing mean EBE recommends the business?
No. Claiming verifies a representative’s connection to the business. It is not a repair-quality certification or endorsement.

What if there are no listings near me?
Try a nearby city and ask your manufacturer for its current service partners. Confirm the shop’s willingness and capability before shipping or transporting your bike.

Keep Your E-Bike Ready for the Next Ride

Once the repair is complete, ask the mechanic what caused the problem and which checks would help catch it earlier. Use the E-Bike Maintenance Schedule Builder to organize ongoing care around your riding.

Find Florida e-bike repair help and contact the business that matches your bike, location and repair needs.
