Another U.S. reviewer took the 350W CGO800S up a reported 19% test hill. The bike reached the top, but the reviewer described it as considerable work and noted that rider strength remained a major factor.

Tenways rates the bike for climbing up to 15 degrees but also states that actual climbing ability depends on rider strength. A 15-degree slope is much steeper than a 15% road grade, so I would not treat the manufacturer’s number as a guarantee that every rider can climb that slope comfortably.

Independent Range Results

Some of the most detailed full battery testing was performed on the European CGO800S. That test bike used a 250W Mivice M070 motor and a lower assistance cutoff than the current U.S. model.

The European results are helpful for understanding battery efficiency and the bike’s basic design, but they should not be treated as direct performance results for the current U.S. 350W configuration.

Electric Bike Report recorded:
